GREAT LITTLE HIDDEN AWAY GEM
We were so lucky to get seated without a res on a Saturday night! Great service and love the decor. My tuna tartar was huge and the ramen Mac n cheese was off the hook. Definitely highly recommend this place!
Brunch here is FIRE!! I got a sausage egg and cheese and it was perfect. Fries were also amazing. They have a really good drink menu too - I got the beer bloody mary and loved it. Definitely one of the best brunch spots in the East Village!
Hands down one of my favorite little French cafe’s in the city. I have been coming here for years and realized I’ve never written a review. From the owner to the staff, they are awesome people. The food is delicious. I get the hamburger which is outstanding or I get the croque madame for brunch. From someone who has been to France over half a dozen times, this place is right up there. Fair warning: It gets PACKED for brunch so you will have to wait to get a seat, but stop complaining, it’s worth it!
Such a gem in East village. We walked by on a Friday night and thought it looked cozy so we stepped inside. We got lucky and were seated right away. I ordered the moules frites and my husband got their famous burger. The moules were great, but the creamy sauce they were cooked in was amazing. I finished my meal by just putting all my (delicious!) fries in that sauce and let them soak it all up. Mmm... Tasty. My husband said that the burger was one of the best he has had.
The service was great. Our waitress kept an eye on us all the time, checking in and offering more to drink and keeping everything perfect.
For dessert we had their mille feuilles with bananas and I kid you not, it was the best dessert I’ve ever had - and I don’t even like bananas! It was fluffy and caramel-y and just... divine.
You should really eat here. You won’t regret it!
